| Twenty members and guest had a most e~oyable
and instructive afternoon at the Duncton Croquet Club.
Afternoon tea, consisting sandwiches, cakes and tea was
served mid afternoon to allow players to enjoy the
sunshine and compare notes on their progress with the
intricacies of this very challenging game. The afternoon
started at 2 pm and concluded at 6.30 pm for the few who
became 'experts'. The club members who gave up their time to look after our group made the day memorable and enjoyable whilst attempting to teach the rudiments of the game to a 'bunch of amateurs' . |
