Digital cameras have rapidly revolutionised domestic photography. In a little over ten years they have come to dominate the sales of new cameras, and have made the taking of pictures far more instantly gratifying (and successful?). This presentation aims to shed some light on the mysteries of the technologies that have put film in the shade.
